American Language Technologies' most important function is to identify, recruit, and retain a qualified workforce. All personnel are subject to a mandatory background investigation, verification of his/her education, previous interpreting experience, etc. Candidates who successfully pass this screening protocol are entered into a secure database and assigned as needed to various projects throughout the country.

With a goal of maximizing retention of current staff below management level, ALT assesses each individual's skills, experience, and potential for success.

ALT routinely reviews prior performance to determine the need for additional training, reassignment, or the promotion of an individual.
